  • *Work 1 sc, ch 3, sl st into 1st ch (picot made), skip 1 st; repeat from * around cuff edge. Repeat for second cuff.

Blocking & Finishing Protocol (100% Premium Acrylic)

Since Ice Yarns Gonca is a 100% Premium Acrylic yarn, proper synthetic blocking will relax the stitches and enhance drape without crushing the ribbing structure:

  1. Weave in Ends: Secure all yarn tails on the wrong side using a tapestry needle.

  2. Light Steam Blocking (Recommended for Acrylic):

  3. Pin the sweater flat on blocking mats according to the Size Chart measurements.
  4. Hold a steam iron 1.5 to 2 inches (4-5 cm) ABOVE the knitted fabric. NEVER touch the iron directly to the acrylic yarn, as it will melt the synthetic fibers.
  5. Direct gentle steam across the body, sleeves, and raglan lines. Allow the sweater to cool and dry completely before moving.
