Nice and soft. The red, orange, and gold colors are very vibrant, which I like. When winding and crocheting, loose alpaca hairs sometimes fall out and get stuck to my clothes. Great value for the yarn composition, though.

Beautiful yarn with some drawbacks
The dark lilac color is stunning especially in natural light. The yarn itself is very soft before working with it. But as I'm crocheting the sweater, I find the alpaca hairs hanging out to be very irritating to my skin. The yarn also splits quite easily. For the value however, you really can't ask for better. While the yarn is scratchy next to skin, it can be remedied by wearing something under it. I think this yarn is find for less sensitive areas of the body.
